Your Ecuador Excursion
Your 10-day adventure includes round-trip airfare, all hotel accommodations, airport transfers, transportation to Mindo, Baños, and Otavalo, and side tours during the trip and admission to sights. Some meals included.
You will fly into the magnificent capital city of Quito, nestled in the northern highlands of Ecuador. Named a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1978, Quito has one of the largest and best-preserved historic centers in all of North and South America.
The scenic beauty on all sides is stunning, as Quito lies in a valley surrounded by mountain ranges and volcanoes. On a clear day you’ll see the snow-capped peak of Cotopaxi, the second-highest peak in Ecuador at over 19,000 feet, and one of the world’s highest volcanoes.
At an altitude of 9,350 feet itself, Quito is the second-highest capital city in the world, and the closest to the equator (which is 16 miles north of the city center).
